24 Hours {or so} in Review

New Years Eve. 3.2.1.

Human Disco Ball. Appropriate on Halloween or NYE.

NYE started off with a short bike ride alongside some of the ladies in my run group. We met up at my favorite run spot on the way out to Tybee Island called "Rails to Trails". Since I ran suffered through eleven the day before, I decided to hop on two wheels and pedal along for the girl talk.

Fast forward through chores, hair curling, makeup and everything... it's time to get my NYE on.

Finn and I started our night at 17 Hundred 90's bar. I had goosebumps the whole time. Totally fine by me as it was probably Anna... their friendly ghost. You may or may not know that Savannah is the "Most Haunted City in America" (CNBC.com, Oct 2010).

We kept going in and out of local watering holes. Finally we ended up for a while at the place where we met, cue the trumpets. Just before midnight we hightailed it a few blocks over to Bay Street and met up with a group of friends, got our free glass of champagne, and smooched in 2012!

Finn and I woke up and finally got to use our wedding presents! Yep. My girls from college are awesome. We enjoyed the 70+ degree weather and sun... January 1, 2012. You did not disappoint.

Let's keep this year rockin', y'all!
more SMILES & more MILES.
