Ice, Ice, Bambi

Apparently I was long over due for my first running fall.

So when our coach said, "Look, there here early in the morning". And I swivel my head to the left, to see a group of ruggers (and none of them good looking nor showing their manly muscles- totally not worth what is coming next) practicing at 6:30am....then in mere split seconds.....

I even have the road rash on my left leg and right hand. It was all like slow motion- the coach came running back and my two friends and fellow #DNation runners were all trying to be the fellow rabbit above. I quickly got up, dusted off my ego and kept on with our tempo run (which ps- went amazingly well after our 2.2 mile warmup run!).

In other news, Camp (my favorite ACS service- it's a week long camp. I go to the one in Oregon, since I used to live out there) is coming up and I finally decided what my costume is going to be for the big dance. An ICE PRINCESS! Our theme this year is "Winter in June". So when I arrive in Oregon; I am going to book it to Goodwill, grab a white dress (maybe even old wedding gown), put white glitter in my hair, glitter make-up, etc. Crown, Wand. BAM!

Today is rest day. So I gotta STRETTTTTTTTTCHHHH more and tomorrow is our 7 miler. I haven't run that far in about 2 years. Building up the mileage! But being that yesterday we did 5.5 and I did 6 last weekend. I am feeling good. I WILL finish this marathon!

Tootles, y'all!
