Today was the first time I ran in over a month since I got injured. Not only have I been in PT for a hamstring and glute issue, but I felt the need to act like a 7 yr old on a scooter and bruised my tailbone. That has made remarkable strides and today I took two miles of strides. Even in the gentle rain it felt so good to put some miles on my feet. After a quick run outside, I took it inside at the gym and put another two on the elliptical. I don't want to push it too much!
Cheers to self restraint and not overdoing it before my body is ready to be back! I would love to hear anyone who has been through a bruised tailbone before and how long it took to heal before you could run again!!
