NeoCell Sport {Review}

I feel like every athlete loves protein. And not like 'Rocky downing raw eggs' kind....

But scoops of powder mixed with water, milk, almond milk, etc. You can shake it in a 'martini shaker' styled shaker or blend it with some ice and fruit. But sometimes protein shakes....

Give me tummy trouble, pain and 'other issues'.

I was excited when fellow FitFluential Ambassador, Jill Hanner, reached out for NeoCell Sport and their protein powers claiming it was tummy safe. I was sent the Belgium Chocolate Collagen Sport Whey Isolate Complex to try out.

NeoCell Athletes... umm hello muscles ;)

I have tried NeoCell blended with banana & strawberries, which was really delightful. I had it for a post-spin {aka sweat-fest!} recovery shake. But my favorite way to get in extra protein and help aide in recovery and refueling after a workout, is just mixing one scoop with 8-10 oz of cold water and a few ice cubes to keep it cold while I sip on it.

30 g of protein, Sugar Free! AWESOME-SAUCE!

Plus... NO TUMMY ISSUES! It is like a blessing. {TMI Alert} No drinking a shake then having to find a restroom 1 or so hours later. Thank you NeoCell, you made this girl very happy!

On a side note, my knee is feeling better. I am resting and icing. I believe, based on the typical internet search and talking with my run buddies, I have patella tendinitis. I am going to go to the doc if it doesn't get better (I do have an appointment, but the earliest I could fit in with wedding and work is like in a month). My plan is to scale back on running and ramp up the swimming, biking, lifting, yoga... while being cautious of "jumper's knee".

Tomorrow I am going to go for a slow 1 mile run, do some resistance band core/arm/back training then head to coach! The ladies are up to one mile and doing awesome!

Have a great week, y'all!
